A reliquary bust with the cranium of Saint Thomas of Villanova and an urn with the bones of the Saint.
Saint Thomas, whose parents lived in Villanova de los Infantes, was born in Fuenllana (1486). He was an Augustinian priest and professor at University of Alcalá.Once he was the Archbishop of Valencia, he remodeled the relaxed customs of the diocese and, moreover, he founded the Seminary of the Presentation for candidates for priesthood. Furthermore, he stood out for his charity, poverty, prudence and pastoral zeal. He died in Valencia in 1555. His feast day is on 10th October.

Saint Juan de Ribera (Sevilla 1533 – Valencia 1611). Patriarch of Antioquia (Turkey) and Archbishop of Valencia. He applied the reforms of the Council of Trent and founded the Real Colegio Seminario de Corpus Christi (“The Patriarch”) to promote the cult of the Eucharist. His feast day is celebrated on 14th January.
