Artwork by the Valencian school of painting of the 18th century.
Gaspar de Bono was born in Valencia. He was a merchant and soldier before joining the Order of the Minims and entering in its Monastery of Saint Sebastian in his home town, where he stood out in the confession, preaching and charity. He was Provincial of his Order. He died on 14th July 1604. His relics are kept in the Church of Saint Nicolas in Valencia. His memory is celebrated on 14th July.
