Gothic Rose Window
Work from the 14th century. It exhibits the line drawing of the Star of David with the Cross in its centre.
The star is a symbol of the birth and the future generations. It portrays Christ, son of the “Star of the Morning”, “Mystic Rose”, “Rose of David”, Mary.
The Apostles’ Door
It opens into the square called Plaza de la Virgen (Virgin’s Square). It has four lancet arches, joined in quality and creating a triple archivolt with forty-eight reliefs in its intercolumniations, portraying virgins, angels and blessed. This entrance is used solemnly by the new Valencian prelates.
The Water Court
The Water Court of the Plain of Valencia meets each Thursday all year long outside this door.
