Over the past decade, the Cathedral has undertaken numerous initiatives to enhance and protect its heritage.

Restoration of the railing on the “Micalet” bell tower terrace.

The organ is fully rebuilt by French organ builder Jean Daldosso in a Romantic-symphonic style.

Restoration and expansion of the Cathedral museum, with excavations uncovering remains from the 1st century.

Additionally, research, analysis, and subsequent restoration of efflorescence on the Renaissance Musical Angels frescoes are underway, with the first study phase already completed.
