Year 712.<\/strong> Due to the Muslim domination, the Holy Chalice was sheltered in different locations in the Aragonese Pyrenees, until it remained in San Juan de la Pe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

After the 1412 Compromise of Caspe, Ferdinand I of Trastamara<\/strong> was named King of Aragon and Valencia, in addition to other territories.<\/p>\n

18 March.<\/strong> Practically all of the king’s reliquary went to the Cathedral of Valencia as a guarantee of the debt contracted with the Chapter.<\/p>\n

During the Independence War (1808-1813), the Holy Chalice was in Alicante<\/strong> (1809), Ibiza<\/strong> (1810) and Palma de Mallorca<\/strong> (1812), fleeing the looting of the Napoleonic invasion.<\/p>\n
