The Royal Brotherhood of the Holy Chalice<\/h2>\n

When on January 6, 1916, the Holy Chalice was definitively exhibited in the old Gothic Chapter House (14th century)<\/em>, the Archbishop Mr. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Salvador y Barrera<\/strong> approved in February 1918, the statutes of the \u201cRoyal Brotherhood of the Holy Chalice, collegiate body of the Valencian titled nobility\u201d<\/em>, in order to contribute to the worship of the sacred relic.<\/p>\n

The first president of the Royal Brotherhood of the Holy Chalice was Mr. Lu\u00eds Vich, Baron of Llaur\u00ed,<\/strong> co-founder of this illustrious association together with the Baron of Santa B\u00e1rbara.<\/p>\n

There are many improvements to the Chapel of the Holy Chalice<\/strong> that the Royal Brotherhood has sponsored, which adopted the celebration of the \u201cThursday of the Holy Chalice\u201d<\/em> on the first Thursdays of the month.<\/p>\n

This Royal Brotherhood also has a division in Madrid.<\/p>\n
